Love this cold day of snow. Tomorrow it will probably be in the 80's.

Preparing for this upcoming show has really been fun.  I turned my direction to more "Out of the head" work than I have done in the past.

I think every artist is in a constant state of exploration.  For me it has been going back to what made me feel good about moving the paint around to start with.

I took some recent work and starting to add to and take away.  Problen solving at it's best.  The Bird idea came from a thought I had one morning (when all my thoughts usually come).  What if I add some birds and play more with the colors?

Layer upon layer, working with negative spaces and dancing to the music...always a good thing.

It reminds me of where I have always been in my creative style.  Over the years I have worked to be better like someone else, and over looked the fun of just being me. GENIUS

I hope you enjoy as well, for what is art without an audience.

Stay warm and enjoy the ever constant beauty in everything simple and otherwise ordinary.....
